Earlier this week, Kanye West began promoting his collaboration with adidas by directing fans to the mysterious website yeezy.supply, which displays a countdown timer on the landing page that ends on February 12.

On the heels of his highly-controversial rant at Sunday evening’s Grammys, the rapper-entrepreneur is slated to kick off the Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week season this Thursday by debuting his new adidas Originals line, Yeezy 750 Boost.

“This Thursday, we’re going to show this presentation, but we’re not only going to show this presentation to buyers and press the way that they do in fashion shows,” Kanye told On Air with Ryan Seacrest over the phone on Wednesday. “We’re going to show the presentation 10 times over the next two days.”

The unprecedented pitches, which will allow families in Brooklyn to “come and bring your kids and just check it out,” will also be available to stream in over 40 locations around the world including Melbourne, London, Atlanta, and Chicago.

“This isn’t about elitism, this isn’t about separatism,” he added. “This is about as many people being involved with this vision as possible.”

Only 9,000 Yeezys, with a retail price tag of $350, are expected to hit stores this Saturday. However, the rapper assures shoes and fashion connoisseurs that his latest brand of sneakers will “eventually” be available for everyone.

“I just want people to be safe and patient,” he said. “I know you can run up on this 14-year-old kid and take his Yeezys, but just be patient because we’ll make more Yeezys. Eventually, everybody who wants to get Yeezys will get Yeezys. Adidas has promised me that because there’s so many kids that wanted them, but couldn’t get them. And I talked to the heads at Adidas and they said, ‘We can make them.'”

As for his next project: “Next season my focus is going to be doing high school uniforms. Like when I was growing up, kids wanted Jordans. Kids got killed for Jordans. Now that I’m in a position, I’m going to make sure everyone gets Yeezys.”

For those who need to cop a pair before the mass production, the sportswear manufacturer has created the “industry’s first hype sneaker reservation app,” adidas Confirmed, for sneaker heads who wish to get their hands on Kanye’s highly-anticipated high-tops.

“The adidas Confirmed mobile app is our way of improving the customer experience and reaching kids in an environment where they spend most of their time,” Simon Atkins, adidas vice president of brand activation said. “It’s a totally new way to bring limited-release sneakers to market and we expect to see a paradigm shift in the industry now.”

You can reserve your Yeezy 750 Boost by downloading adidas Confirmed in the app store here.
